I had my operation on 7th January 2016. I had a uni compartmental right knee replacement. From my first consultation Mr Barkatali put me at ease and made a promise "That it would be a good experience". As good as a partial knee replacement goes!. From my initial consultation at Walkden Gateway to arriving at Trafford General for my op, Mr Barkatali was true to his word. His team were second to none, Nursing staff, Anaesthetists , Recovery staff and aftercare Physio all brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, every question and query was answered fully and concise. I was treated as a person not just a NHS number. All in all, if I would have paid to go privately I could not have received better care or treatment. 11 months on I can walk for hours now and it has made such a huge difference to my life and well being. Thank you Mr Barkatali to you and your team.

Mr Barkatali was very helpful in my consultation putting me at ease, addressing me by my first name and including my wife in the consultation. He spoke to me with the anaesthetist and visited me on Saturday morning the day after my operation when he talked to me about the physio i would need and when he expected me to be discharged. I am very impressed with him and would recomend his service to all.
